The Didglander

The Didglander is a device designed to offer a portable didgeridoo stand with an adjustable microphone stand. It was created to solve three main inconveniences in a didgeridoo player’s life:

Protects your instrument:
The Didglander keeps your instrument safe and clean by placing its bell-end on a soft leather strap. It also protects the performance/workshop area from condensed moisture dropping from the bell-end, thanks to the included carpet piece.

Ensures the correct distance:
The Didglander ensures the desired distance between the instrument and the recorder/microphone by using a sliding holder with a brass locking screw. It provides excellent options for experimenting with recording setups. Thanks to the leather strap, vibrations from the didgeridoo are not transferred to your recording device, so they won’t affect the mic’s membrane or housing.

Portable studio:
This portable recording studio can be quickly packed into a stylish box with the following dimensions: 10 x 11 x 24 cm (approx. 4 x 4 x 9.5 inches), weighing about 1225g (approx. 2.7 lbs).

Production:
It is made of natural materials such as alder wood and leather and coated with layers of shellac and oil-wax. It is handcrafted in cooperation with local craftsmen from the region. Each piece is therefore unique and may slightly differ in appearance. The original idea comes from "Swiss Dan Design".
